Hot Keto Shrimp Cocktail


  • 2 tbsp coconut oil or ghee
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 12 oz. peeled shrimp
  • ½ tsp chili flakes
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley
  • salt and pepper

Thousand island dip

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • ½ tbsp tomato paste
  • ½ tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp hot sauce
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • salt and pepper


  • Add all ingredients for the dip to a small bowl. Stir to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste and set aside.
  • Heat up oil in a large frying pan. Use the side of a knife or a spoon to smash the garlic cloves, but keep them (mostly) in one piece. Add smashed cloves to the oil to flavor it; remember to remove the cloves before serving.
  • Add shrimp to the pan and fry for a couple of minutes on each side if using raw shrimp. They are done as soon as they have turned a nice pink color. If using pre-cooked shrimp, just heat them up quickly in the pan and allow them to get flavor from oil and garlic.
  • Add chili flakes, salt and pepper to taste. Chop the parsley finely and sprinkle on top.


Keto Lasagna


  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 yellow onion
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 20 oz. ground beef
  • 3 tbsp tomato paste
  • ½ tbsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
  • ½ cup water

(Keto pasta)

  • 8 eggs
  • 10 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 5 tbsp ground psyllium husk powder

(Cheese topping)

  • 2 cups crème fraîche or sour cream
  • 5 oz. shredded cheese
  • 2 oz. grated parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper

½ cup fresh parsley, finely chopped


  • Start with the ground beef mixture, perhaps even the day before, for a more flavorful result.
  • Peel and finely chop onion and garlic and fry in olive oil until soft. Add the ground beef and fry until golden. Add tomato paste and spices.
  • Stir thoroughly and add water. Bring to a boil, lower the heat, and let simmer for at least 15 minutes or until most of the water has evaporated. Since the lasagna sheets used here don’t soak up as much liquid as regular ones, the mixture should be quite dry.
  • Meanwhile, make the lasagna sheets according to instructions below.
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Mix shredded cheese with sour cream and most of the Parmesan cheese. Reserve one or two tablespoons for topping. Add salt and pepper and stir in the parsley.
  • Place lasagna sheets and pasta sauce in layers in a greased 9″ x 13″ baking dish.
  • Spread the crème mixture and the remaining Parmesan cheese on top. Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes or until the lasagna has a nicely brown surface. 


Low Carb Keto Chocolate Delight Cake


  • 9 oz. dark chocolate with a minimum of 70% cocoa solids
  • 51⁄3 oz. butter
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 pinch salt

1 tsp vanilla extract


  • Preheat the oven to 320°F (160°C). Use a springform pan, maximum 9 inches (20-22 cm) in diameter. Grease the form with butter or coconut oil and fasten a piece of round parchment paper to the bottom.
  • Break the chocolate into pieces and dice the butter. Melt together using a double boiler or the microwave oven. Be careful — chocolate burns easily so stir often. Once melted, stir until smooth and let the mix cool just a little.
  • Separate the eggs and put the yolks and whites in separate bowls. Add salt to the egg whites and beat with a mixer until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
  • Add vanilla to the egg yolks and whisk until smooth.

Pour the melted chocolate and butter into the egg yolks and mix well. Fold in the egg whites. Keep folding just until you can’t see any white streaks from the egg whites. Pour the batter into the springform pan and bake for about 15 minutes.
